FAQs
What will I learn in your courses?
Through coding courses, students get an introduction to computer programming using either visual, block-based programming language or syntax-based programming languages. Depending on the course they take, they will learn how to build their own game 👾, tell a story through animation 🖼, or design their own web page 👩🏻‍💻.
Our online courses are designed to be a blend of self-paced learning through our online classroom and guided learning through live video sessions with our instructors. One level in each course comes with the following:
✔️ Access to the online course with your own MyCode account
✔️ Schedule live video sessions with instructor and peers

My child is 5 years old or below, can he/she enroll in your online classes?
The current Scratch Jr. curriculum may be too difficult for kids 5 years old or below since it is designed for older students and includes more advanced concepts in numbers and commands.
My child is above 14 years old, can he/she enroll in your online classes?
The current curriculum of courses are designed with beginners in mind, but it is also applicable even to those above 14 years old! Everyone who is above that age and curious about computer programming is welcome to join our HTML/CSS or Python online classes.
What if I miss a session? Will the session’s class materials be sent out to me?
For private classes: In the case that a student misses a session, it can be re-scheduled at the next most convenient time agreed upon by the student and instructor. We allow up to three rescheduling of classes.
For group class: MyCode offers a recorded video lesson in place of the missed session.
Communicate with us at study@mycode.ph or 0909 846 7897 for any session re-scheduling or emergency.
My child has previous experience in coding, can he/she proceed to a different level? I am not sure what course or level my child should join, do you have an assessment?
Please visit this link: https://forms.gle/3DgWN9Kmdwrexxxk6 for a quick assessment. If you have more specific questions not covered by the assessment please reach out to us at study@mycode.ph.
I want to schedule a private class for two of my children in the same household. Can I avail a discount?
If your children will be taking the same course at the same time, we can accommodate up to two students for the same private class rate. Children under the same household but taking different courses and/or different time slots will need to pay the private class rates individually.
